You Take the High Road
After the success of our first music video for Bruno Major, we were invited back, this time to create a second for another track appearing on his latest album release, Colombo.
Following the journey of two tenacious penguins, ‘You Take The High Road’, is a soulful reflection on resilience and self-discovery. Written from a place of personal experience, the song explores the theme of choosing integrity and staying true to oneself in the face of adversity.
Crafted by a dynamic and efficient team, Bruno’s video features the talents of two animators (cell and 2D) and a skilled illustrator. We infused energy using walk cycles, parallax movements, and innovative 2D animation techniques, all geared towards not just cost-effectiveness but also allowing the strategic deployment of cell frame animation to create a production that resonates with maximum impact.
The final delivery consisted of an end-to-end process from initial storyboarding, to character development, thousands of illustrations, and a final 16:9 music video, which was shared across multiple channels by Bruno’s team. Within hours of posting the video had received hundreds of thousands of views, having been globally shared by viewers, helping to expand Bruno’s reach and awareness.
